Accra Hearts of Oak set to sign attacker Rudolf Blagogee

Former Ghana U17 attacker Rudolf Blagogee is set to sign for MTN FA Cup winners Accra Hearts of Oak according to Phobianews.com

Blagogee has previously played for Densu Rovers, Osijek U19 in Croatia, Sporting CP U19 in Portugal, MFK Karvina in the Czech Republic, and Ingulets in Ukraine.

Blagogee was left out of Ghana’s U17 final squad, which advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India.

He is a dynamic offensive player who can play both wings and behind the striker and up front.

Rudolf Blagogee will feature in Hearts of Oak’s first team during the 2022/23 football season after the departure of offensive players like Kofi Kordzi.

Ghanaian forward Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer nets brace as Hamburg progress in DFB Pokal

New Ghana forward Ransford Konigsdorffer scored a double as Hamburg eliminated SpVgg Bayreuth in the German DFB Pokal. 

The 20-year-old forward climbed off the bench in the second half to inspire Hamburg to a string co0meback to beat Bayreuth.

Konigsdorffer replaced Filip Bilbija in the 46th minute with Hamburg a goal down. The German-born Ghanaian levelled the scored with seven minutes remaining to send the game into extra time.

The Bundesliga II side shot in the lead seven minutes into extra time through Sebastian Schonlau before the youngster wrapped up victory with a 111th minute.

Konigsdorffer joined Hamburg in the summer transfer window from Dynamo Dresden and has been in blistering form, scoring his first two competitive goals for the club.

Compatriot Aaron Opoku also came off the bench in the second half.

Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer switched nationalities in June to represent Ghana, the country of his father.

Ghanaian Godjes Yeboah joins German side FC Teutonia Ottensen

German-born Ghanaian winger Godjes Yeboah has completed his transfer to FC Teutonia Ottensen for the new season.

Yeboah has joined a German fourth-tier club in the hope of playing regularly senior playing time as his career progresses.

The 17-year-old signed for the Hamburg-based club on a free transfer after his contract with the RB Leipzig U-19 youth team expired last season.

“Godjes is a very young player who can still play at the A-Jugend and had top training in Hanover and Leipzig. He was absolutely convincing in the trial session at the training camp. He wants to show himself in the men’s division now and we want to help him and his potential wake up a bit,” manager David Bergner said.

Ghana will face Nigeria in the final round of qualification for the 2022 African Nations Championship after defeating Benin.

The Black Galaxies defeated Benin 1-0 on Saturday at Cotonou’s Stade de l’Amitié to complete the double over their West African opponents and advance to the next round.

Annor Walker’s team qualified with a 4-0 aggregate victory after winning the first leg 3-0 in Cape Coast last week.
